0.11.2
Released September 29, 2026.
Improved
- A new icon: a postage stamp with an L, lifted off a rose tile, in light and dark versions.
- Proper home-screen icons for phones and desktops, so LatestArr looks right when you pin it or add it to your home screen.
0.11.1
Released September 29, 2026. A small follow-up to 0.11.0. Check that ENCRYPTION_KEY is set
before you upgrade; see Upgrading to 0.11.1.
Improved
- The Add source dialog links each type to its setup guide in these docs, and Plex, BookLore, Grimmory, and Audiobookshelf show a note asking for testers .
- The web UI footer links to latestarr.app, the docs, Discussions, and issue reporting.
- The Default design footer links to latestarr.app instead of GitHub.
- Questions and ideas now have a home in GitHub Discussions .
Fixed
- LatestArr checks
ENCRYPTION_KEYat startup and exits with a clear message if it’s missing or invalid, instead of starting and failing later when you save a source or SMTP profile. - The Default design’s footer icons now show; a colour bug made them invisible.
0.11.0
Released September 29, 2026. Read Upgrading to 0.11 before you upgrade.
New
- Designs: an options-based design editor with a live preview, replacing the drag-and-drop template editor.

- Jellyfin and Emby sources. Testers wanted.
- Users: more than one person can manage LatestArr, with temporary passwords, deactivation, and SSO linking.

- Failure alerts by email, Discord, Slack, ntfy, Apprise, or JSON.
- Preview and test send for the next issue.
- Skip scheduled sends when there’s nothing new.

- Refreshed Default design, with the date range and counts in the header.
- Emails support dark mode and include a plain-text version.
- Intro, footer note, buttons, and font now live in designs, migrated automatically.
- User import from every source that has users, typing emails the server doesn’t share.
- More detailed logs, with a new
LOG_LEVELsetting. - Sources show each service’s own logo.
- Docker image moves to Node 24 LTS. Mobile layout fixes.
Fixed
TRUST_PROXY=truenow reaches the container.- Deleting a design in use switches its newsletters back to Default, with a warning first.
- TV episodes use the show’s poster.
- Deactivating an account signs it out at once, and sign-in emails aren’t case-sensitive.
